John Chung

John is the Chief Financial Officer at The Exit Group. He guides the firm’s overarching financial operations and strategy while taking a hands-on approach to day-to-day accounting.

A skilled operator and business developer, he thrives in launching and growing ventures. John founded startups in emerging sports, media, and outdoor sectors, building on senior roles at New York Life Investment Management and UHNW family offices domestically and abroad.

John holds an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and a B.S. in Management Science from UC San Diego. He is also a CFA Charterholder. An avid tennis player, John turns casual matches into fierce competitions-echoing his college court days.
